Knockout Competitions 2008

 The Committee have decided that for 2008, the Summer Knockouts run by the Competition Secretary will be FREE ENTRY.

Closing date for entry was the 9th March.

This year the formats will be:

Men's Doubles will again be Fourball Betterball Matchplay          Three Quarters of the difference taken from the lowest handicap.

Mixed Doubles will again be Foursomes Matchplay                     Half the combined difference.

Men's Singles Matchplay   (no qualifier)           Please Note:        Full difference as directed by the EGU.

For 2008 the Draw Sheets will also be available on this website and will be updated regularly. Please remember that there are a set of rules/guidelines which the Committee put in place in 2007 regarding qualification for knockouts as well as responsibilities for making sure that the matches are played on time and by the due date. These rules worked well in 2007 and helped ensure that all the knockout competitions finished on time. Please see the rules section of this site for more information.
